Promotions Management: My professor is just a sweet guy. He is very smart, but boils down the material into what we really need to know and puts it on a level that doesn't take three hours just to decipher what in the heck is going on. He has postponed the due date for our final project because we are all ready to rip our hair out. He took both of his classes and their spouses to dinner last night at Firehouse Pizza. Who does that?! He is a real advocate of students and always has his smart phone with him so he can answer any emails within an hour.
Business by Design: We had a final project assigned to us a month ago. No one fully grasped what was going on. Thanksgiving was in the middle of that, so that messed everything up too. It was supposed to be due today but one chick raised her hand and braved asking the question for an extension. Once the professors saw that we didn't have any idea what was going on, they pushed the deadline to Monday and clarified things big time.
Accounting 2020: The professor was so smart, but didn't lord that over us. He had such a good handle on how to teach that it was actually kind of nice to learn accounting, and that is saying something coming from me. He also played 2 truths and a lie with us during the middle of class almost everyday just to break things up a little bit.
Biology: This was the most basic, general biology class of all basic, general biology classes. The professor knew we didn't care about the material, so he made it what we needed to know and wasn't out to hurt our GPAs. He took all of our pictures on the first day of class so he could learn all 250 of our names. I hate biology, but I actually liked learning about it from him.
Operations Management: My professor had years and years of experience. He knew most of us weren't operations majors, so he dumbed it down to what we needed to know and taught lots of life lessons. Guess which materials stuck with me.
