Highlights for today include:
- Edinburgh Castle
- Scottish Crown Jewels at Edinburgh Castle
- Hop on, hop off bus tour around the city
- Scottish Parliament; the design was amazing and it was cool to learn about how their government worked
- Calton Hill Monuments (everyone else climbed up onto the National Monument, but unfortunately I wasn't tall enough to reach it)
- National Monument, Nelson's Monument, the Dugald Stewart Monument, the Political Martyrs' Monument
- Spooky old cemeteries, including the graves of Adam Smith and David Hume, well-known economists (am I a business major or what?!)
- 2-4-1 specials in a bar where we watched World Cup soccer; tonight's game was Chile and Brazil
